CHICAGO, May 6 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Beginning yesterday, May 5, America's Second Harvest - The Nation's Food Bank Network, kicked off a week long photo series to spotlight the many faces of hunger in America. Angelina

Providence, Rhode Island

At 88 years old, Angelina is the sole caregiver to her husband of 67 years, Louis, who has limited mobility as a result of diabetes and leukemia. Not only are his medications expensive, but the food he needs for proper nourishment is nearly impossible for them to afford. Together, their fixed incomes cover their mortgage, insurance premiums and utilities, and not much else. At times when their budget is stretched the furthest, Angelina gets help from the St. Theresa's Food Pantry inProvidence, Rhode Island. There, she is able to get food that keeps her kitchen stocked with hearty staples like pasta, rice and canned vegetables, as well as fresh items such as fruit and chicken. "Sometimes I worry that I won't have food to feed my husband," Angelina explained. But thanks to the pantry, they never have to go without.
