Over 10 Million copies Projected to Sell
Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games, referring to itself as "the purveyors of video gaming pleasure", has done it again, releasing another Grand Theft Auto IV, a video game containing extreme sexual and violent content.
Take-Two, is anticipating $400 million in sales in its first week since the April 29 release of the video. That is far greater than virtually any full feature motion picture releases!
The Entertainment Software Rating Board ("ESRB") rates this game an "M" for "Mature", appropriate for ages 17 and up. But retailers are not required to enforce these ratings when making sales.
Beyond the intense violence, blood and mayhem, during the game the character can drive drunk, have sex with prostitutes, visit adult clubs, and even request a private lap dance! Clearly, this horrific game is stealing more than virtual cars-it's robbing virtue from the minds of our youth and filling them with images and ideas likely to come home to roost.
Besides many socially conservative groups outraged at the vile new game, even mainstream organizations including The American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, the American Psychological Association, the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Psychiatric Association all agree that there is a detrimental effect of violent media on a growing mind.
Conducting Talk Show interviews on the outrageous video games, is Arthur Ally, founder and president of The Timothy Plan, a morally responsible family of mutual funds that refuses to invest in companies like Take-Two Interactive because of their involvement in the anti-family entertainment and pornography industry.
Arthur Ally said, "This $30 billion a year entertainment business is exploiting sex and violence more than ever in their products. We hope more parents will not continue to fall into a category that four out of ten often do by relying simply on the ESRB rating and leave their children alone while they are playing video games."
All shares with your audience that although the new games are allegedly not intended for anyone under 18, many 'unintended' children will no doubt find a way to obtain Grand Theft Auto IV. http://www.whattheyplay.com/features/no-parents-allowed-grand-theft-auto-iv/
Mr. Ally refers to the Rockstar game, Bully: Scholarship Education which was released in March, revolving around a mischievous schoolboy including several scenes where the main character describes other boys as "hot" and himself as a "totally awesome kisser" after kissing other boys. Bully currently has an ESRB "Teen" rating, appropriate for ages 13 and up. When Art Ally is a interviewed or is a guest on your show, your audience will discover how they can incorporate an entirely new element into their investment decisions. They will learn how to discern between companies that make business decisions rooted in a value system that aligns with theirs and those that don't.

Arthur D. Ally, who launched the Timothy Plan in 1994, is founder and President of the company, the nation's leading Biblically based, pro-life, pro-family mutual fund group. The Timothy Plan utilizes stringent moral screening criteria designed to avoid investing shareholders' money in any company that has a pattern of contributing to the cultural pollution of society.
Art is also general partner of Timothy Partners Ltd. (the fund's sponsor/advisor) and past president of Covenant Financial Management Inc. (CFM), a financial planning firm he founded in 1990 prior to establishing The Timothy Plan.
Ally is a former certified financial planner and former certified public accountant (CPA) with over twenty seven years experience in the investment industry.
Prior to forming CFM, Ally spent eight years with Shearson Lehman Brothers as vice president, branch manager and financial consultant and five years with Prudential Bache in the same capacity. Throughout his career in the investment industry, Ally has developed an area of expertise in money management selection through which he has helped individuals, retirement plans and non-profit organizations define their investment objectives and conduct searches for professional money managers.
That "money management selection" expertise is ingrained in Ally's personal philosophy and that of the company, i.e., the "real key to good investment performance is good investment management." It is the overriding reason why no funds are added to The Timothy Plan--the firm presently has nine different funds--until the company has identified and retained a top-tier money management firm that specializes in that fund's asset category.
A much sought-after conference speaker, Ally has presented seminars and workshops for Christian conventions throughout the United States, has taught investment, financial and estate planning classes at the University of Central Florida.
Community and professional involvement includes National Association of Christian Financial Consultants (past president), Liberty Counsel of Florida (director) and teaching Sunday school at New Life Fellowship Baptist Church of Winter Springs, Florida.
A graduate of Cleveland State University with a degree in accounting and finance, he and his wife, Bonnie, have been married since 1961 and have three children and seven grandchildren.
