Maverick Murray Outlines No Amnesty 5-Point Immigration Reform

New Jersey conservative Republican leader Dr. "Maverick Murray" Sabrin, the Garden State's strongest advocate of limited government and individual freedom and the front-runner for United States Senate, celebrated May 5th by outlining major immigration reform and calling for English to be made the official language of the United States at the press conference outside the Burlington County Old Courthouse in Mt. Holly, New Jersey at 2:00 p.m..

Dr. Sabrin was joined at the press conference by Justin Murphy, Republican candidate for the 3rd Congressional District, Michael Carr, Republican candidate for Burlington County Clerk, and Burlington County Freeholder candidates Carol Lokan-Moore and Bill Moore.

Dr. Murray Sabrin stated, "It is very important on the 5th of May to reaffirm our commitment to English as the official language of the United States. It was Teddy Roosevelt who said, 'We have one language here, and that is the English language, and we intend to see that the assimilation crucible turns our people out as Americans.'" Sabrin continued, "The U.S. Constitution was written in English and these powerful words bind our nation together. As someone who immigrated legally to the United States as a boy whose second language was English, my family was proud to assimilate into American culture and learn English. I will support the National Language Act when I become a United States Senator and I have outlined The Sabrin Solution 5-Point Immigration Reform."

Justin Murphy, running in the 3rd Congressional Republican Primary remarked, "The Democrats in Congress have failed to address one of the most pressing issues of our time - immigration reform. When I am elected to the United States House of Representatives, I will support the National Language Act and The Sabrin Solution 5-Point Immigration Reform." Murphy continued, "Chris Myers is out of touch with New Jersey families and with Republican voters. As a major donor to the extremely liberal Frank Lautenberg, Chris Myers supported Lautenberg's anti-American record against English and against building a fence along the border. We don't need to send a Republican who thinks like a Democrat to Washington. Chris Myer's money speaks louder than his words!"

Burlington County Clerk candidate, Michael Carr commented, "The taxpayers of Burlington County are demanding their elected officials deal with the illegal immigration problem. They are making the demands in English which is why the Democrats aren't listening." Carr continued, "Assembly Bill 468 and Senate Bill 1090 making English the official language of New Jersey are long overdue and it is time for a change."

Burlington Freeholder candidates, Carol Lokan-Moore and Bill Moore spoke at the press conference as well. Lokan-Moore said, "Local governments are struggling to deal with the lack of immigration reform at the national level. This exemplifies the unfunded mandates the federal and state governments impose on local government. Forcing local governments to print and communicate in multiple languages is unconstitutional and too expensive." Moore said, "It is critical for local officials to speak up (in English) to make English the official language of New Jersey and the United States. Language skills are critical for immigrants to enter the middle class of America and empowering them to succeed. The local governments are dealing with this issue every day and the liberal Democrats in Washington and Trenton are out of touch."

The Sabrin Solution 5-Point Immigration Reform:

1. Secure our borders both North and South from foreign terrorists and illegal immigrants
2. Make English the official language of the United States
3. End birth-rite citizenship
4. Do not allow any amnesty for illegal immigrants to become United States citizens; to become a citizen they must return to their home countries and enter our nation legally
5. For those illegal immigrants who want to live, work and pay taxes (but not be granted citizenship) they must pay a financial penalty and go through a thorough bankground check to become a legal resident.

The press conference is being held on the steps of the Burlington County Old Courthouse (120 High Street, Mount Holly, NJ) at 2 p.m.
