Last Chance for Early-Stage Startups to Submit Proposals to Present at Launch: Silicon Valley 2008
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., May 5 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Silicon Valley Association of Startup Entrepreneurs (SVASE) today announced May 9, 2008 as its fast approaching submission deadline to present at "Launch: Silicon Valley 2008," its flagship event co-presented by SVASE, Garage Technology Ventures and Microsoft. Launch: Silicon Valley 2008 provides an effective and efficient event platform for the next generation of emerging technology companies to launch their products to the world, in front of an audience of Silicon Valley's top VCs, Angel investors, corporate business development executives, prospective customers and partners, bloggers and media.
Launch: Silicon Valley 2008 will be held June 10, 2008 and will highlight up to 30 young technology companies in information technology, mobility, security, digital media, next generation internet, life sciences and clean tech. Culminating the event again this year will be the selection "the most promising" companies in each category.
Companies interested in presenting their products at Launch: Silicon Valley 2008 should send an Executive Summary of no more than two pages to Launchsv@svase.org by May 9, 2008. Companies must have a product or service available as of June 10, 2008.
Selected companies will be invited to present on stage for 10 minutes during Launch: Silicon Valley 2008. In addition, entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to meet with members of the audience one-on-one between general sessions and during a June 9 pre-conference networking party. The registration fee for presenting companies will be $625 for SVASE members and $750 for non-members. (Note: SVASE annual individual membership is $99.)
