Dan Rather Reports to Provide Live Coverage of the North Carolina and Indiana Primaries on HDNet
DALLAS, May 5 /PRNewswire/ -- As the drama of this year's race for the
Democratic presidential nomination unfolds, all eyes are now focused on the

In "Dan Rather Reports on Politics: TheNorth Carolina and Indiana
Primaries," Rather will be joined on the broadcast by former Congressman Tony
Coelho (D-CA), veteran campaign strategist Democrat Donald Fowler, Pollster
Peter Hart, Media Critic Tom Rosenstiel and Superdelegate Lauren Wolfe,
President of the College Democrats of America.
Coelho served in the U.S. Congress from 1978 to 1989. He was the House
Majority Whip from 1986 to 1989 and the Chairman of the Democratic
Congressional Campaign Committee as well as a Chairman of Vice President Al
Gore's presidential campaign from 1999 to 2000.
Donald Fowler has achieved leading roles in both national Democratic
politics and the high tech industry. Over the last fifteen years, he has
served as a senior policy advisor in Silicon Valley and worked on five
presidential campaigns including those of Bill Clinton, Al Gore and John
Kerry. He currently runs a Silicon Valley mobile technology firm (Cherry Tree
Mobile Media) and a political consulting group inCalifornia.
Peter Hart of is one of the leading analysts of public opinion inthe
United States. The National Journal named Mr. Hart to its select list of 150
national leaders who shape federal government policy, characterizing him as
"probably the foremostWashington pollster for the Democratic Party and its
centrist candidates, who plays a key role in identifying and shaping national
trends and political messages."
Media Critic Tom Rosenstiel designed the Project for Excellence in
Journalism and directs its activities. He also serves as vice chairman of the
Committee of Concerned Journalists, an initiative engaged in conducting a
national conversation among journalists about standards and values. A
journalist for more than 20 years, he is a former media critic for the Los
Angeles Times and chief congressional correspondent for Newsweek magazine.
Lauren Wolfe is the President of the College Democrats of America (CDA).
She is a Fulbright Scholar and a graduate of Smith College, currently
attending law school inDetroit. As one of the youngest Democratic
Superdelegates in the country, her vote is highly sought after. She has
posted a video on YouTube and other websites, to allow college students across
the country to play a part in the nominating process.
