Mediatechnics Acquires The Live Network
MEDIATECHNICS CORPORATION (Formerly Silverado
Financial, Inc.) (PINKSHEETS: SLVO) is pleased to announce that it has
acquired The Live Network, LLC of Margate City, NJ (TLN).
TLN is an established industry leader in the on-site production of event
media. TLN was among the first companies to successfully produce and
distribute event CDs and DVDs minutes after the performance. Beginning in
1999, TLN has produced hundreds of live sets ranging from acts seen at the
New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival (in conjunction with
Jazzfestlive.com and Munck Music) to the National Finals Rodeo (in
conjunction with ESPN and Pro Rodeo Films).
TLN provides a turnkey solution to entities that own or control copyrighted
material, allowing them to create and sell media on-site at events without
compromising ownership rights or experiencing unbalanced revenue splits.
TLN offers content holders a cost structure similar to a standard
duplication / replication facility and has full service offerings from
custom event website sales portals to full media sales and fulfillment
services, as well as full service audio and video production services.
TLN's on-site duplication services allow our customers to capitalize on the
impulse buying habits of event attendees. TLN's services cover a variety
of event types including conferences, seminars, lectures, ceremonies (such
as graduations), concerts and sporting events.
"We are very pleased to join forces with our long time industry partners
Mediatechnics in this exciting endeavor. Companies who own content now
have an industry partner that is dedicated to providing them the means to
offer on-site sales of immediately available media in various forms
including CDs, DVDs, mp3s and whatever future media types present
themselves," said Andrew Weilgus, President of TLN, who will retain that
title for TLN as a subsidiary of Mediatechnics. "We believe there are a
substantial number of companies that own content who are not capitalizing
on this new revenue stream. Research and experience tell us customers
desire to obtain a lasting memory of an event they attended right away and
do not wish to wait days or weeks for access to that media. TLN offers a
complete solution to any content-owning company with pricing similarly
structured to standard media replication."
Together with TLN (), Mediatechnics Corporation
recently acquired companies Mediatechincs Systems, Inc. and Media Master
Corporation will be combined into one seamless operating unit,
manufacturing hardware in California and providing fulfillment services
from its facilities in New Jersey with on-site services available anywhere
inside the United States.
