J.R. Dunn's Las Olas Location Helps Foster Rejuvenation of Area

Ft. Lauderdale, Fl - Leading Florida Jeweler, J.R. Dunn, is reporting a year to date growth of 46 percent over the same time period last year for its Las Olas location. The store, located at 401 Las Olas Boulevard, Suite 100, has been open since October 2002. J.R. Dunn was one of the first companies to see the benefit of the rejuvenation of the Las Olas area, and to make an investment in the area.

"In the beginning there were more cranes than customers," owner Sean Dunn remarked, but that has certainly changed as the condos are now starting to fill up and the new restaurants, like Riley McDermott's, are hitting their stride. On any given Friday night the 'who's who' in Ft. Lauderdale can be spotted having a cocktail right across the lobby from J.R. Dunn Jewelers, and that is great for our business."

The tremendous year to date growth for the Las Olas store has been spearheaded by diamond sales, high end watches, and designer jewelry, including names such as John Hardy, Roberto Coin, and Mikimoto.
