Scientology and Some Facts as I know Them

Dear Editor:
In response to Mission Control: The Church of Scientology Has a Problem.
Good day.
I will admit that I do not personally have a direct horror story, in fact I've never been involved with the CoS, and I count myself amongst the faceless faces and numberless masses of Anonymous instead. And this is how I know these things. For now all I will do is point to a few links that might be of very strong interest.
First of all is the story of WrongPlaceWrongTime, or Jeanne-Marie Boucher. Her story is probably one of the most heart wrenching ones so far, and even those formerly careless Anons have not been able to not feel the pain from this;

Secondly is a collection of such stories, gathered by three who grew up in Scientology, Kendra, Astra and Jenna. You might recognize the name, and names of those involved, from the Nightline special a few days ago;

I am sorry that I can not provide you with any closer information than this. You must understand that this is a situation that requires more than a simple fact check on Wikipedia and having things served on a platter, it requires the time to understand the stories, as well as read them, before an accurate image can be made. Although you should feel free to contact anyone you can from this website, although Kendra Wiseman will not be able to reply for a while.
I hope you take the time to read up from both sides, and try to understand the situation both as Anonymous explains it, and as it is explained by the Church of Scientology. On the forums for ExScientologyKids.com you can also find those who defend the practices of Scientology, although not the Church of Scientology. I recommend that you have a look around on the forum, and ask if anything seems very unclear.
