BAGHDAD - Multi-National Division - Baghdad Soldiers discovered an emplaced improvised explosive device, and a rocket with launcher in two separate locations in the Rashid district of the Iraqi capitol April 27.

In the Abu T'shir community, at approximately 6:30 a.m., Soldiers from Troop C, 7th Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, 1st BCT, 4th Inf. Div., seized a 107 mm rocket with launcher.

At approximately 2:15 p.m., Soldiers from Company F, 2nd Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment, attached to the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, located an explosively formed penetrator IED during a combat patrol of their area, the Abu T'shir community.
