Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc. Property in Davenport, Iowa Closed Due to Mississippi River Flooding
ST. LOUIS, April 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc.
(Nasdaq: ISLE) announced today that as of 3:00 p.m. central time its casino
property inDavenport, Iowa has been closed temporarily until flood waters
recede.
"We have been closely watching the Mississippi River for several weeks. Up
to this point, river stages had remained at a safe level for both our guests
and team members alike. Unfortunately, continued rain to our north is
resulting in the rise of the Mississippi River and access to our property has
been compromised. We continue to serve guests at the Isle of Capri casino and
hotel inBettendorf which has not been impacted," said Mo Hyder, vice
president and general manager. "We are working with our management staff to
ensure that our team members are not adversely impacted and we have adequate
insurance in place to cover the closure."
