HRSDC: North American Labour Ministerial Council Meeting
OTTAWA, ONTARIO - (Marketwire - April 23, 2008) - The Honourable Jean-Pierre Blackburn, Minister of Labour and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec met with the Honourable Javier Lozano Alarcon, Secretary of Labour and Social Welfare of Mexico and Ms. Elaine L. Chao, United States' Secretary of Labour, prior to the North American Agreement on Labour Cooperation (NAALC) ministerial council meeting. This meeting will provide Council members with a unique opportunity to discuss priorities for the NAALC. The meeting will continue tomorrow morning and conclude with a news conference.
