NASA Astronaut Visits Folsom April 17th
Who & What: NASA Astronaut Clayton C. Anderson will share photographs and stories about his work aboard the International Space Station during a visit to Folsom. Approximately 400 children and adults have made reservations for the event.
Anderson, a 25-year veteran of the NASA Johnson Space Center, served as a flight engineer and science officer for Expedition 15 during a five month stint in 2007. He performed three space walks, spending a total of 18 hours outside the International Space Station before returning home in November.
When: 6:30 - 8 p.m. Thursday, April 17
Where: Folsom Middle School, Multi-Purpose Auditorium, 500 Blue Ravine Rd., Folsom.
