New Enterprise Forum Hosts Interactive Discussion of Web 2.0 Technologies and Associated New Business Models

Howard Brown - Co-Founder and CEO, CircleBuilder Software: Howard is currently creating CircleBuilder, a secure, family friendly social network and outreach management platform that better connects individuals and faith-based organizations. In 2000, he also founded PlanitJewish.com, another social networking site.

Joe Minock - Founder and CEO, J. Edward Media Group/AccuGet.com: Joe is responsible for business planning, sales and marketing, investor relations, and data architecture at his startup in the on-line directory network industry. He is also the chair of Digital Edge Michigan, a growing network of 40+Michigan-based digital entrepreneurs and CEOs.

Steve Schwartz - Co-Founder and Lead Developer Guy, RateMyStudentRental.com: Currently a student at Kettering University, Steve has already established himself as an Internet player. His interactive site connects and facilitates communication between students and landlords; he also runs Alfa Jango Software & Marketing.

Rick Warner - CEO, Parking Karma: Rick is a veteran innovator of usable technology in the transportation industry, and has guided new businesses and products to market. He serves on the Transportation Research Board's New Transportation Systems and Technology committee and is a Year 2000 ComputerWorld Smithsonian Laureate.

The moderator will be Ian Bund, Chairman of Plymouth Venture Partners. Ian has been a venture capital principal since 1969. He has played a founding or lead role in eleven venture capital partnerships inNew York,Michigan andAustralia including the first three institutionally financed partnerships inMichigan.

Showcase Presentation: Each month, NEF highlights an emerging company and provides them a Showcase Presentation. This month, our Showcase Presenter will be Todd Gross, CEO of Lambert Technologies, developers of Strain Sensitive Skin for accurately and rapidly testing prototype materials for structural strain.

Open Forum: The evening's presentations are followed by Open Forum, during which attendees have the opportunity to make a 30-second pitch for their company, product/service, or need.
