The Pluralism Project Launches Redesigned and Updated Website
The Pluralism Project is a research organization at Harvard University dedicated to the study of the changing religious landscape of the United States. Winner of the Webby Award in 2003, the redesigned www.pluralism.org integrates new technology and design elements, blending elegance and functionality to make our research readily accessible. The relaunch of our site also includes new content, including vast revisions to our World Religions in Boston resource; a thorough history of the Pluralism Project; detailed descriptions of our four research initiatives (Civic, Interfaith, International, Women's Networks); a four-part definition of pluralism; and new slide shows, research reports, and updated links. Other online resources include a searchable database of over 6500 religious centers across the United States, statistics, maps, and teachers' resources, which are constantly being updated and are listed by both tradition and state.
Our Religious Diversity News database has also been redesigned to improve the process of searching and indexing of articles. The new interface allows users to easily navigate between our domestic and international news items, to follow ongoing stories, and to search an array of key themes. New features also include options to save and email stories.
Thanks to assistance from our funders, friends and affiliates, the Pluralism Project's website and news database are available for free public use.
