Multi-National Division - Baghdad PAO

BAGHDAD - A Multi-National Division - Baghdad Soldier was killed by an improvised explosive device attack at approximately 2 p.m. in northeastern Baghdad.

The Soldier was wounded when an improvised-explosive device struck the vehicle the Soldier was riding in during a combat patrol.

The Soldier's name is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin and release by the Department of Defense.
