NFL Linebacker Derrick Brooks to Grab Dollars for Local Youth Foundation

TAMPA, Fla., April 7, 2008 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Derrick Brooks, NFL linebacker for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, will appear on Thurs., Apr. 10, to raise money for a worthy cause: Derrick Brooks Charities, an umbrella organization that provides local lower-income youngsters with a variety of educational and recreational opportunities from local school programs to sporting event tickets and trips toAfrica.

    The free, public event will also feature a consumer contest and
educational activities to help consumers learn ways to save.  Five individuals
will win $2,000 in cash every hour, from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. The event is
part of a multi-city tour that will award participants more than $190,000 in
cash.
