WE tv's fifth episode of the critically-acclaimed series High School Confidential ("...riveting..." - NY Post; "...fascinating and important..." - TV Guide; "...must-see TV..." - Philadelphia Inquirer) premiering Monday, April 7 at 10pm I 9c features a trio of friends - Crystle, Beth and Gina - who call themselves the "tripod." Crystle is a level-headed girl with strong morals. But with her father working overseas and her mother frequently visiting him, Crystle is left home alone to take care of herself. Beth and Gina become her support system, as does her long-term boyfriend. But when jealousy and gossip become major players in Crystle's relationships, she breaks up with her boyfriend. According to Harris Interactiveâ poll commissioned by WE tv, today's teenage girls would like to spend more time with their families. In addition to quality family time, they also value advice from parents, although most turn to friends for their opinions.[1]
· 84% of parents say they trust their children
· 45% of high school girls say they would like to spend more time with their families
· 42% say they would definitely ask their friends for opinions about problems
· 23% would turn to a mother or stepmother for advice
· 52% say when they do get guidance and advice from parents they almost always listen to it
