Self Guided, tour map in ticket
The Folsom Garden Club, established in 1934, is holding its 8th Annual SUNDAY IN THE GARDENS TOUR. The tradition is carried on by offering a Tour of six charming gardens, each one unique and yet all designed around Folsom's demanding climate and terrain.
The tour is self-guided and will highlight a wide variety of plants used in gardens which include unusual water features, garden structures, and garden art. Two large mature gardens, adjacent to each other, feature Japanese design, with natural streams, outcroppings and a spectacular floral display; antother features an outdoor kitchen and professionally designed garden art.
A newly installed outdoor living area with kitchen, pool, and waterfall are focal points in another garden; a first time viewing of a Model railroad train in an Asian garden setting is special this year; and the winning water conservation garden installed by the City of Folsom Water Managment Department includes a rear yard professionally landscaped by the owners. There is something to appeal to everyone.
