A Soldiers' Angel since December 2006, Teresa oversees the fifteen states in the north east region. Although it is hard to keep track of exactly how many Angels are on her teams, she estimates there are 4,000 Angels in her home state, Florida.

The Soldiers' Angels VA team helps with "stand-downs." In a "stand down," all available resources are gathered in one place for veterans, and Soldiers' Angels gives out backpacks. The veterans are guided through the process of accessing the services they have earned.

The VA teams visit veterans in hospitals, and host bbq's. Teresa says "...we have a blast, lots of fun...".
