WCMQ- Clasica 92.3 Broadcasts "Live" The 2008 Freestyle Music Awards

Who: The 2008 Freestyle Music Awards will honor numerous celebrities with this distinguished award and WCMQ Clasica 93.3 FM will broadcast it "live". Present will be The Honorable, Manny Diaz, Mayor of Miami, and The Honorable Carlos Alvarez, Mayor of Miami-Dade County. The ceremony will feature a wide array of musical guests, including the renowned Miami Symphony Orchestra and the Original Cover Girls who will be make a one-time special appearance.

Why: For many years, freestyle music has been a popular genre in Hispanic communities and this ceremony gives it the respect and recognition that it has long deserved. Awards will be presented to artists, producers, DJs, music promoters, and record label executives who are, and will continue to be, a key part of freestyle music's success.

When: Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at 6:30 PM. The Miami Police Department will escort the stars and distinguished guests from the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Downtown Miami to the Miami Dade County Auditorium. Doors open at 7:00 PM and the ceremony begins at 8:00 PM.
