Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy Hires National Accounts Manager to Expand Multiple Sclerosis Program
SWARTZ CREEK, Mich., March 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy
today announced Ken Visser has joined the company's sales and marketing team
as National Accounts Manager of Multiple Sclerosis. Visser works directly with
Steve Chaffee R.Ph., Senior Vice President of Business Development, and with
Mark Neville, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Visser is responsible for the development and national launch of
Diplomat's Multiple Sclerosis Navigator(TM) program. The drug therapy
management program increases access to MS drugs; and, through direct patient
contact and physician coordination, also improves compliance and tolerance to
MS drugs.
"Ken brings a high level of energy, capability and dedication to our
Diplomat team," said Chaffee. "As he reaches out and educates the healthcare
community about our industry leading MS program, physicians and especially MS
patients will benefit as they discover the services Diplomat offers."
"Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy is uniquely poised to substantially impact
the current nature of pharmacy care and service in Multiple Sclerosis," Visser
said. It really is an honor to pilot the introduction of the MS Navigator
drug therapy management program and eNAV(TM) patient care software to
patients, payors, prescribers and manufacturers."
Diplomat developed their exclusive eNAV (eNavigator Software System)
program to cover a spectrum of disease states. The interactive software houses
the core pieces of the company's pre-existing high-touch patient care models
and transcends them into the digital world.
Before joining Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy, Visser performed business
development and marketing communications functions in both the technology and
pharmaceutical industries. He has significant experience in the development of
sales partnerships, coordinating integrated offerings from multiple
