CAMP TAJI, Iraq - Multi-National Division - Baghdad Soldiers with the 3rd Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad begin the run event of the Army Physical Fitness Test March 20 at Camp Taji.

CAMP TAJI, Iraq - Staff Sgt. Patrick Sanders, a Pompano Beach, Fla., native, reads the instructions to the Army Physical Fitness Test March 20 prior to beginning the semi-annual requirement. Sanders, who serves as the Nuclear, Biological, Chemical noncommissioned officer for 3rd Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, helped to time the event for other Phoenix Battalion Soldiers.



CAMP TAJI, Iraq - Capt. Carlos Martinez, a Caguas, Puerto Rico, native, grimaces as he knocks out another push up March 20 during an Army Physical Fitness Test at Camp Taji. Martinez, the supply officer for 3rd Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, completed the semi-annual requirement while deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Jessica McGaughey, a Redlands, Calif., native, watches as she grades Sgt. 1st Class Jesus Medina, a San Fernando, Calif., native, while conducting an Army Physical Fitness Test March 20 at Camp Taji. McGaughey, who serves as the supply sergeant Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 3rd Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, graded Medina, the operations noncommissioned officer for 3rd STB, and other Phoenix Battalion Soldiers during the semi-annual requirement.


CAMP TAJI, Iraq - Sgt. 1st Class Jesus Medina, a San Fernando, Calif., native, forces his body to complete another sit-up March 20 during an Army Physical Fitness Test at Camp Taji. Medina, who serves as the operations noncommissioned officer for the 3rd Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, and his fellow Soldiers from the Phoenix Battalion, completed the semi-annual requirement while being deployed to Iraq.
