Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS) (NASDAQ: SBSA) announced today that the Monday, March 17 edition of KXOL-Latino 96.3 FM's "Morning Invasion" will feature Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaragosa and the parents of Jamiel Shaw, Jr., a star African American football player who was shot and killed by two Latino gang members the evening of Sunday, March 2. The special guests will discuss how area communities can work together to prevent gang violence in Los Angeles - especially between African Americans and Latinos. Jamiel Shaw Jr. was a star football player at Los Angeles High, who, as a junior, was named the Southern League's most valuable player last season. Jamiel's mother, Anita Shaw, is a Sergeant in the United States Army and was serving her second tour in Iraq when she learned about her son's murder.
