Talking with Hawaii's Heroes Live Aloha Show Sunday, March 16, 2:00-3:30 PM
Hawaii's heroes will share their stories on Sunday, March 16, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Hawaii time, live on the Internet. Guests for the show will include: Kahu Don Eads, his 14 year-old son Hoku, Hawaii Mayor Harry Kim, Dylan Nonaka and Doctor (Major) Joseph D'Angelo.
Active duty Hawaii based military guests will also appear on the show and include: Maj. Charles J. Anthony, Hawaii Air National Guard, deployed to Afghanistan from July 2007 to February 2008, Tech Sgt. Mark Schwartze, Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii and Tech Sgt. Cambra Bradford, a member of the Security Forces Squadron stationed at Bellows Air Station, Hawaii.
The broadcast will also feature call-ins from Iraq with five 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, Warrior, 25th Infantry Division soldiers stationed out of Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. The soldiers are SPC Lisa Allen, SGT Raymond Garcia, SPC Smith Ontario, SGT Juan Bobe, SPC Steven Ippel, and SPC Adrian Brealey.
This is the first in a series about Hawaii's soldiers and their families. It is designed to show support to our troops. Talking with Heroes is also planning several other events to show our support in the Aloha State. Bob Calvert, who resides in Colorado Springs, is the host and originator of Talking with Heroes.
