Houston Texans Cheerleaders Compete Against Mascot Toro to Raise Dollars for Houston Texans Foundation & Teach For America


HOUSTON, March 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- In true Texas Style, the Houston Texans Cheerleaders and mascot, TORO, will make an appearance on Sat. Mar. 15 for a charity grab showdown. TORO and the Cheerleaders will compete to grab flying dollars in the world's largest money machine that stands 3-stories high. In addition to the charity event, 5 real Texans will win the chance to walk away with $2,000 in cold hard cash for their own savings. One winner will be awarded $2,000 every hour from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m.

The Texans will have some fun on a stage stacked three stories high with eight glass "money" machines and compete against fans to grab the most dollars for charity. Attendees are also encouraged to enter the contest to win the chance to grab dollars and win $2,000. The event is part of a multi-city tour that will award participants more than $190,000 in cash.

    The Houston Texans Cheerleaders will raise money for the Houston Texans
Foundation and pose for photos with fans.  The Houston Texans Foundation's
mission is to encourage and enable all youth and families to reach their full
potential and achieve success.  Texans Mascot, TORO, will grab dollars for
Teach For America.
