By Jagdev Singh
The Women Wing of the Panthers Party convened one-day convention at Panthers Party Headquarters in Jammu chaired by Ms. Anita Thakur, General Secretary of State Panthers Party in connection with International Women Day.
Several women activists expressed their anguish on the pride of women particularly by the State police in violation of their fundamental rights. In a resolution women demanded dismissal of all police officers and other officials who were responsible for barbaric assault against Anita Thakur and others on August 7, 2007 during migrants march to Delhi.
