Only One Person Will Be Calling President Hillary At 3 A.M.

You've seen her latest commercial? Some call it a scare tactic. "Just scaring up the vote," said Obama. It's been done before. Bill Clinton once said that, if forced to vote our fear or our hope, vote hope- or something like that. Frankly, if Bill advised Hillary against running her 3 A.M. ad, she likely dismissed him. Pity.

Frankly, who does Hillary think will be calling the White House at 3 A.M.? When she was co-president, did this happen with regularity? Or, did it happen only occasionally- those rare occasions when she was actually in the same bed as Bill?

Perhaps Hillary is thinking she'll hear from President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad? Maybe she suspects he'll be courteous enough to also give her a two-week notice before he takes off for Iraq. It's possible.

Or, perhaps Hillary suspects that phone will ring and it will be Vladimir Putin seeking her advice on commodities. He and hand-picked Medvedev are nationalizing oil and gas faster than the tundra freezes in winter, you see.

Maybe Hillary thinks the phone will ring at 3 A.M. and it will be a border guard asking permission to question 50 suspicious-looking travelers in the back of a U-Haul. Surely, she's not suspecting calls from ICE.

So, who will be calling Hillary in the Whitehouse at 3 A.M.? If Hillary were to actually find herself sleeping in the Executive Suite again, there's only one person who would be calling her at that time of night: Bill Clinton and he'll be needing bail.
