Silver Jubilee Caravan enters Kathua District
Silver Jubilee Celebration Caravan led by Prof. Bhim Singh, Chairman of JKNPP accompanied by Shri Harsh Dev Singh, Leader of the Panthers Legislature Party and other leaders entered District of Kathua. The caravan was received by hundreds of people in Gujroo-Nagrota, Phinter, Billawar accorded rousing reception to the Panthers Party Kafila with flowers and beating of drums. Addressing the historical Silver Jubilee rallies Prof. Bhim Singh and Shri Harsh Dev Singh called on the youth of Jammu and Kashmir to join the Panthers Party movement to dislodge the ruling parties of power and save the country.
Prof. Bhim Singh addressing the rally in Billawar expressed the satisfaction that the leadership of Pakistan has after all realized the ground reality and the situation in Jammu and Kashmir. He hoped that the angry leadership in Kashmir shall also accept the reality of the people.
Prof. Bhim Singh strongly condemned Israel for suppressing the Palestinians and demanded UN action under Article 7 of the Charter against Israel.
Prof. Bhim Singh also demanded withdrawal of all foreign troops from Iraq. Prof. Bhim Singh demanded District Status for Billawar in the interest of the people and Scheduled Tribe Status for the Pahari ethnic group in the state.
In his address, Shri Harsh Dev Singh accused the state government for deliberately discriminating against the development of the Degree Colleges which were opened in his tenure. He expressed apathy that the Degree Colleges and even the Higher Secondary Schools which were opened during his Education Ministership have remained deprived of adequate teaching staff, lab and library facilities. He expressed shock that nothing has happened to make these educational institutional functional after the Panthers Party withdrew from the coalition. He said that the majority of the colleges and the schools have become defunct.

Jalmeria, Advocate and Shri Shanti Basotra (State Secretaries), District General Secretary of Kathua Shri Mohan Lal Verma, Zonal President Shri Chuni Lal Mistri, Shri Pawan Singh, Young Panthers Leader and Journalist Ms. Nasreen Hamid.
