Pro-Indian Leader Condemns Israeli Aggression Against Palestinians
By Fayaz Wani
Srinagar, March 3: The pro-India Kashmiri leader, Bhim Singh has condemned what he termed the Israeli aggression against the Palestinians.
Bhim Singh, chairman of National Panthers party and chairman of Indo-Palestine Friendship Society, staged a protest demonstration in front of United Nations observers in Jammu and submitted a memorandum to them for the UN Secretary General.
He accused the Anglo-American Axis for supporting Israel against the Palestinians who had been promised statehood by the resolution 181 of 1948 under which Palestine was divided by the UN. "Israel has been created by the US to take control of Arab oil, earth wealth and strategic waters and this was the reason that US invaded Iraq and hanged its President," he alleged.
He demanded stern action against Israel and recognition of the state of Palestine as was demarcated by UN resolution 181 and accepted by the UN and its Members.
The pro-India leader made a strong appeal to Indian Prime minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh to take up this issue with the international community to end Israeli invasion. He said India since Mahatama Gandhi to Rajiv Gandhi have stood by the Palestinians and their cause.
