Top Hizbul Militant Surrenders in Kashmir

Srinagar, Feb 29: Indian army today claimed that a top militant of pro-Pakistan militant group, Hizbul Mujahideen surrendered before the authorities.
An Indian army spokesperson in Srinagar told News Blaze that a top wanted militant of Hizbul Mujahideen surrendered to the army, Friday.
He identified the surrendered militant commander as Irshad Kalas son of Mohammad Sopi Kalas of Wani Yaeram, in North Kashmir. He also handed over an AK Rifle, 3 magazines and 87 rounds to the army at the time of his surrender.
The militant commander had been actively participating in activities against forces for last six months in North Kashmir and his surrender is said to be a major jolt to Hizbul Mujahideen.
