Garmin(R) Signs On to Sponsor Gillett Evernham Motorsports Team in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series
OLATHE, Kan., Feb. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Garmin International Inc., a unit of
Garmin Ltd. (Nasdaq: GRMN), today announced that it will become an associate
sponsor of the No. 19 Gillett Evernham Motorsports team in the 2008 Sprint Cup
series with driver Elliott Sadler. Electronics retailer Best Buy is the car's
primary sponsor. Garmin is partnering with Best Buy Racing for the second year
in a row.

seemed fitting once again to partner with Best Buy to sponsor an event so
heavily followed by Garmin users," said Dan Bartel, Garmin's vice president of
worldwide sales. "We're excited to be on board with NASCAR and the Best Buy
team, and we are confident in the user connection that this partnership
brings."
The No. 19 car will sport a prominent Garmin logo that will also be found
on driver and crew uniforms, and it will appear on other supporting vehicles
throughout the 2008 race season. During the season, an interactive Garmin
kiosk will be available in the Best Buy Fun Zone Technology truck as it makes
race day appearances. Garmin will serve as the primary sponsor when NASCAR
heads toDover on June 1, 2008, and on September 28, when drivers compete at
Kansas Speedway.
