Dr. Arnon Krongrad Interviewed by WSVN Concerning Prostate Cancer

Dr. Arnon Krongrad, a recognized Florida "Super Doctor" and President of the Krongrad Institute, was interviewed recently concerning the increasing presence of prostate cancer in younger males and proactive steps the can take to address the illness.

"One out of six of all American men will be diagnosed," Dr. Krongrad said, "we see lots of men in their 50s, 40s, and even 30s with prostate cancer."

Dr. Krongrad stated that "to the best of our knowledge, there is no specific lifestyle that increases or decreases your risk of prostate cancer." According to the WSVN interview, family history is the only sure signifier of one's susceptibility to this fatal illness, killing 500 Americans every week.

"The simple fact that you feel well doesn't mean you are off the hook," said Krongrad.

No symptoms may exist for prostate cancer and the disease can go untreated until it is too late. That is why it is recommended that if you do have a family history of prostate cancer that you insist on having your first screening in your 30s.
