Four Para-Military Soldiers Killed in Kashmir

Srinagar, Feb 28: Four para-military CRPF personnel were killed in shoot-outs, accidental fire and a road mishap in Kashmir.
A para-military officer was killed after being hit by a bullet which was accidentally fired from his service rifle in the summer capital, Srinagar, Thursday morning.
A para-military officer told NewsBlaze that the para-military officer was on guard near the television centre in Srinagar this morning when a bullet accidentally got fired from his service rifle. "The bullet hit him, causing grievous injuries to him. He was shifted to hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead," he said.
The deceased para-military officer was identified as Nareshwar Ram (No: 861252875).
Police have registered a case and launched investigations.
Meanwhile, two para-military soldiers were killed in a militant attack in South Kashmir yesterday evening.
A police officer of the area told NewsBlaze that militants fired automatic weapons at a search party of para-military soldiers during a combing and search operation at Bandzoo, Pulwama in South Kashmir. The deceased soldiers were identified as Mohammad Rafiq and Manoj Kumar.
The militants managed to escape after the shoot-out.
Another para-military soldier was killed in a road mishap at Humhama in outskirts of Srinagar, yesterday evening. The deceased soldier was identified as Rakesh Kumar.
