BAGHDAD - Pfc. Robert Rushton, a Patterson, Calif., native, pulls security and calls by radio Feb. 19 during a cordon and search operation in Baghdad's neighborhood of Rathwaniyah. The Soldiers were responding to complaints from local citizens about people taking weapons into the neighborhood. Rushton serves as a radio/telephone operator with Battery B, 1st Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Multi-National Division - Baghdad.


BAGHDAD - Sgt. Matthew Hubbard, a Lancaster, Calif., native, searches with a metal detector for possible threats, such as buried fire arms, mortar, rockets and munitions, during a cordon and search operation Feb. 19 in Baghdad's neighborhood of Rathwaniyah. The Soldiers were responding to complaints from local citizens about people taking weapons into the neighborhood. Hubbard serves as a section chief with Battery B, 1st Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Multi-National Division - Baghdad.
