Avalanche Buries Soldier in Kashmir

Srinagar, Feb 27: Yet another of the Indian army's personnel, deployed in a border outpost, was buried alive in a snow avalanche in Kashmir.
A police officer told NewsBlaze that an Indian army soldier identified as Rifleman Bhupinder Singh came under a snow avalanche near Budy Beir, Machil in North Kashmir on January 25. The army launched a rescue operation and managed to recover his body yesterday evening.
With the death of this soldier, the death toll in avalanches in Kashmir has climbed to 41. Among the dead were 12 Indian army personnel.
