Republican Witch Hunt Anybody?

Am I the only one missing something here? Why does the majority of the "mainstream" media now go around crowing that Republican John McCain "must now watch his steps" due to the innuendo filled and anonymously sourced New York Times hit piece that literally belongs in the National Enquirer or some Fleet Street supermarket tabloid?

Why are both of his Democrat opponents riding effectively scot-free in the eyes of this same media horde? Hillary Clinton has a dirty laundry list that would make many 1920s gangsters blush, with such things as the Whitewater scandal, the Vincent Foster incident and the pilfered FBI files just for starters. Not to mention hubby Bill.

Barack Obama appears to be the apparent media-darling and therefore free of inquiries over his own past actions. Yet he has had some rather questionable ties at best through the years such as the Rezko land deal cash cow or even some questionable backers of his particular church, donors of some character issue and other actions over the years still ignored by the same media. Not to mention either his recent quote about how our Nations troops in Afghanistan "find it easier to get Taliban weapons than be fully equipped" or all his missed Senate votes and voting "present" to avoid tough votes and wife Michele's twice stated "was never proud of my country" jab.

So now due to an unfair and sleazy liberal hit piece at best, Senator McCain- a Republican- is publicly told be these vipers he must tread with caution yet none of the Democrats appear to have anything to "worry about." Isn't there something just a little bit odd about this? Americans need to wake up, right now, before these wannabe Michael Moore's try to pick and "elect" our leaders for us and you can bet the farm it would not be someone who would be putting our security or safety anywhere near the top of their lists.
