Tony Cherbak, Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
With over 29 years of professional services, operations and financial
management experience, Tony Cherbak has responsibility for the overall
operations of Resources Global Professionals, a multinational professional
services firm that helps business leaders execute internal initiatives.
As a member of the company's senior management group, Mr. Cherbak serves
as part of a team that leads the successful implementation of Resources'
business model that delivers high-caliber professional work to clients and a
corporate culture that gives its professionals rewarding, flexible careers and
work-life balance.
Mr. Cherbak joined Resources in July of 2005 from Deloitte & Touche LLP,
where he spent the majority of his career as an audit partner in the Orange
County, California office. At Deloitte, Mr. Cherbak led the firm's consumer
business practice for its Pacific Southwest region, and most recently served
as the partner in charge of the Orange County audit practice. In 1996,
Mr. Cherbak took a position as CFO of the apparel company Mossimo before
rejoining Deloitte in mid 1997.
Mr. Cherbak graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 1978 with a BS
in Accounting.
Tanja Cebula, Senior Vice President
Ms. Cebula is responsible for Resources' Western Region, which includes
18 U.S. offices. In this role, she oversees operations, financials and
recruiting while also mentoring teams and offering strategic guidance to
practices within the region.
Ms. Cebula's impact at Resources has reached outside of her official
responsibilities, including her co-direction of Resources' management-led
buyout from Deloitte in 1999. She has also had an impact guiding the company's
marketing efforts, as well as influencing corporate culture and overall
leadership during her 11 years with the company.
Ms. Cebula began her Resources career in 1997 as managing director and
founder of the then-newPortland, Oregon office. She moved to Southern
California as regional managing director in 2000, assumed responsibility for
the Pacific Northwest in 2002 and in 2004, took on the entire Western Region.
Prior to her Resources career, Ms. Cebula served as product director for
Johnson & Johnson Medical inDallas, Texas and senior auditor for Deloitte &
Touche inPortland.
Having earned a leadership scholarship to the Kellogg School of Management
at Northwestern University, Ms. Cebula received her Master of Management
degree in 1990, with special concentration in Marketing, Organizational
Behavior, International Business and Strategy.
Ms. Cebula graduated from Oregon State University with a BS in Accounting
and a minor in Economics. She currently serves on the St. Joseph Hospital
Foundation board in Orange, California. In addition, she co-founded the Breast
Health Awareness Foundation whose mission is to bring breast cancer awareness
to corporate America. A six-year breast cancer survivor, Ms. Cebula is an avid
runner and proponent of exercise for health and wellbeing. She has also served
on the Oregon Council for Hispanic Advancement's Board.
