Snake River Sporting Club Mountain Lodge at Teton Village Welcomes Executive Chef Bernie McDonough
JACKSON HOLE, Wyo., Feb. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Snake River Sporting Club in
Jackson Hole, WY, is pleased to announce its new Executive Chef, Bernie
McDonough. Bernie joins the Snake River Sporting Club from two sister
properties, the Ford Plantation in Savannah, GA, and most recently, Turks &
Caicos Sporting Club at Ambergris Cay, BWI, where he has served as Opening and
Executive Chef since 1998.
Bernie will act as the new Executive Chef at the restaurant in the 2,600-
square-foot Snake River Sporting Club Mountain Lodge at Teton Village, a ski-
in/ski-out Members' Club just steps away from the mountain's tram and gondola.
The Mountain Lodge provides full concierge service, such as valet parking,
boot warming and ski-tuning, as well as fine-dining -- all in a personalized
intimate setting.

Trained under the prestigious Brennan family, and having had short-term
apprenticeships with numerous certified master chefs and James Beard award
winners, Bernie is an invaluable addition to Snake River Sporting Club. Bernie
began his culinary career as a prep cook at 45 South in Savannah, GA. By the
age of 23, he was named Executive Chef and has since been awarded one Mondavi
Lifetime Achievement Award and a place on the medal-winning U.S. Culinary
Olympic Team. Bernie has been featured alongside celebrity chefs, Emeril
Lagasse and Gunter Seeger, on the PBS Holiday Special, Wining and Dining with
Yves Durand -- A Southern Holiday Celebration. More recently, Bernie's breadth
of culinary skills can be viewed in his new collaborative cookbook with 10
Speed Press, Savoring Savannah, distributed internationally worldwide.
