FLEMINGTON, N.J., Feb. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- A new national study among 467

when he testified that he had two conversations with Roger Clemens about
"both" players' use of HGH and Roger Clemens use of steroids.

The study was conducted during February 18-19 by HCD Research using its
mediacurves.com web site, to obtain Americans' views on comments made by Andy
Pettitte during a press conference yesterday in Florida.
Pettitte was one of the players listed in the Mitchell Report. He admitted
under a sworn affidavit to a congressional committee that he did use HGH
during his baseball career. He also told the committee that on two occasions,
he had conversations with Roger Clemens regarding both players use of HGH.
While watching video segments of Pettitte's press conference, participants
were asked to indicate their levels of believability by moving their mouse
from left to right on a continuum. The responses were recorded in
quarter-second intervals and reported in the form of curves.
According to Glenn Kessler, president and CEO, HCD Research, Andy
Pettitte's believability levels were compared to Roger Clemens' believability
levels from a study conducted last week on mediacurves.com. "The believability
levels were measured using a scale of -100 to +100, with -100 indicating not
believable at all and +100 indicating completely believable," explained
Kessler. "Overall, Clemens received a score of +4 and Pettitte received a
score of +24, suggesting that Pettitte was moderately more believable among
respondents."
Participants were also asked pre- and post-viewing questions. To view
