-- "One of the primary business drivers for RHC was to optimize the
scheduling of our field technicians while meeting or exceeding our
service commitments with our customers. Oracle's solution was
attractive to us because it includes a tightly integrated real-time
scheduling engine that continuously optimizes the assignments of
service orders to qualified field resources," said Paul Slinger, vice
president of strategic initiatives, Reliance Home Comfort.
-- "What really differentiated the Oracle Utilities Mobile Workforce
Management product from its competitors was its scheduling
functionality," Slinger added. "Accordingly, our business case was
driven on the cost savings we expect to achieve by implementing
Oracle's software. The beauty of the Oracle solution is that it is
constantly optimizing the field technician routes and the customer
appointments 'on the fly' -- allowing us to deal with high priority
customer requests on the same day of request and control costs."
-- "We're very pleased Reliance Home Comfort has selected Oracle software
to help achieve its goals of high operational efficiency and
exceptional customer service," said Quentin Grady, senior vice
president and general manager, Oracle Utilities. "This effort
underscores Oracle's strategy to deliver tangible business value to our
