Airbus Selects Goodrich for A320 Family Cabin Attendant Seats

The seats will be produced by Goodrich Interiors' facility inColorado Springs, Colorado. Design and development work will commence in the first quarter of 2008, and production deliveries are scheduled to start in the third quarter 2008.

The 16G single-aisle cabin attendant seats incorporate improvements in reliability and safety, and meet the most stringent government regulations for emergency landing protection. Seats will be installed on new production A320 Family aircraft; in addition, airlines may choose to retrofit fleet aircraft with the improved seats.

Airbus has more than 2,500 A320 Family aircraft on order for delivery between 2008 and 2017. Currently, more than 3,300 A320 Family aircraft are in service worldwide.
