Defense Logistics Agency Recognizes Harold 'Hal' Miller

Miller, the Aerospace Global Pricing Compliance Leader with Honeywell Defense and Space, received the Commander's Choice Award. This is presented to the non-DLA individual whose dedication and commitment to the DLA mission affects the quality of life for U.S. men and women in uniform.

Overall, the Business Alliance Awards recognize those who have demonstrated outstanding efforts to partner with DLA and improve the agency's mission -- providing supplies and services to America's warfighters. DLA Vice Director Air Force Maj. Gen. Arthur B. Morrill III presented the annual awards.

The agency's primary role includes managing more than 5 million consumable items, such as rations, medical supplies and equipment, clothing and textiles, and repair parts for land, sea and air weapons systems and platforms.

As a key player in the DLA-Honeywell strategic supplier alliance, Miller consistently takes the lead within Honeywell to integrate DLA's mission requirements into the Honeywell corporate culture and daily work processes. Miller's efforts to link DLA's success with Honeywell's internal process and goals have made the strategic supplier alliance a true win-win situation for both. By working tirelessly to foster the business relationship, Miller has enabled DLA to provide world-class customer support with Honeywell parts.
