New Voting Process Promises to End Election Controversy

The heart of the process, dubbed the Perfect Voting System, is a voter verified, computer printed Official Ballot and Voter Receipt. The Official Ballot eliminates all errors including over-voting and leaves no questions as to voter intent such as was the case with the famous "dimpled chads" in the disputed 2000 presidential contest.

The voter signs and takes home his/her Voter Receipt which may be used to provide complete access to the vote tabulation. For the first time in our nation's history, every voter could confirm that his or her vote was counted exactly as intended. If there is any question as to the accuracy of the election tabulation, the original ballot could be retrieved using the Voter Receipt's unique ID number and the unmistakable voter selections printed on the Official Ballot could be compared to the election tabulation. The likelihood of a discrepancy would be no greater than is found with the states' lotteries.

The privacy of the vote would be protected and the Perfect Voting System protects against unauthorized third parties from being able to confirm how a particular voter cast his/her ballot. The Perfect Voting System uses off-the- shelf printers, scanners and computers and eliminates the costly process of pre-printing ballots.
