"Love Letters" for Folsom Lovers Combines Theater, Restaurant
By Alan Gray, NewsBlaze
Finding a unique gift for Valentines Day can be tricky. You've done roses, chocolates, the movies, gone out with friends, stayed home and done the cooking.
This year, start with a special dinner or lunch at My Brother Vinny's Restaurant in Sutter Street, Historic Folsom. Then cross the street to the theatre and enjoy a Cabaret Show of wonderful music before seeing the touching love story Love Letters.
The show is performed by veteran actor and award winning director of Stage Nine Theatre, Connie Mockenhaupt and award winning Young People's Theatre of Folsom Director, Allen Schmeltz. Love Letters is directed by Mike Jimena.
The Romantic Dinner Package is exclusively for Valentine's Day weekend, starting on the special day itself, Thursday, February 14, at 6:00 p.m. - $50 single or $90 couple. You can include Champagne or Wine for $110 per couple.
If you can't get there in the evening, the "Love in the Afternoon" Matinee/Lunch Package is a great idea, starting at noon, for $35 singles or $65 per couple. Again, include Champagne or Wine for $85 per couple
If you don't have time for dinner or already have other arrangements, Mike says you can just see the show for $22 per person.
Love Letters continues on Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday at 4:0p.m. Tickets for the weekend show are $22 general and $20 seniors and SARTA. This includes the pre-show Cabaret.
For reservations call (916) 353-1001. Theatre seating is reserved so call early for the best seats.
