Obama Campaign Announces Kickoff Rally and Sign Making Party in Sacramento

Saturday, February 2, at 9:30am the Obama Campaign in Sacramento will host a rally and canvass kick-off event in Caesar Chavez Park. At the event, basketball great Kevin Johnson, State Senator Darrell Steinberg, Former State Senator Deborah Ortiz and City Councilmember Kevin McCarty will rally supporters before they go out to knock doors in the Sacramento community.

TODAY, at 5:30pm, the Obama campaign will host a sign making party with a group of local kids who are supporters of the campaign to prepare for the rally at its Sacramento campaign headquarters at 2015 Q Street. Press is welcome to attend as the campaign prepares for Saturday's rally.
