AccuWeather.com Reports Possible Showers, Chilly Temperatures for Game Sunday

AccuWeather.com Senior Expert Meteorologist Dr. Joe Sobel reports a chance of wind and rain for the Phoenix area on gameday Sunday. While conditions may be a bit gloomy, "it certainly won't be as nasty as the last game in Green Bay," Sobel wrote in his blog. Two weeks ago, temperatures dropped to -14 degrees on the day that New York battled for a spot in the championship matchup.

While the game itself is protected from weather by a retractable roof, tailgaters may need to pack a poncho or umbrella and trade warm-weather clothing for some layers as temperatures will be on the cool side, with the high AccuWeather RealFeel TemperatureŽ at 62 degrees for the daytime and the nighttime low at 36 degrees.
