Branch Loan Consultants Represented by Nichols, Kaster & Anderson Are Notified of Right to Make Overtime Claims Against Rock Financial

On January 23, 2008, the U.S. District Court for Eastern District of Michigan ordered that notice of a Fair Labor Standards Act collective action overtime case be sent to all branch loan consultants and branch loan officers who worked for Rock Financial. Rock Financial is a division and an assumed name of Quicken Loans Inc., operating in the state of Michigan. Notice of the lawsuit was sent today to over 750 potential plaintiffs.

Plaintiffs' attorney Rachhana T. Srey of the law firm of Nichols Kaster & Anderson, PLLP explained that "the deadline to join this lawsuit is April 1, 2008. We are optimistic that hundreds of branch loan consultants who have been cheated out of overtime pay will make claims for this pay."

Plaintiffs are represented by Donald Nichols, Paul Lukas and Rachhana T. Srey from the Minneapolis, Minnesota law firm of Nichols Kaster & Anderson, PLLP. The case is entitled Chasteen et al. v. Rock Financial, a Quicken Loans Inc. company, et al., Civ. No.07-10558, E. D. Mich.
