Indian Troops Occupation 176 Acres of Land in Kargil

Srinagar, Jan 31: The pro-India leader and revenue minister of Kashmir, Aijaz Ahmad Khan today revealed that Indian troops continue to occupy land in violence hit Kashmir.
He revealed today that 176 acres of land in the mountainous Kargil region are under the occupation of Indian army personnel.
It is pertinent to mention here that Kargil witnessed a major conflict between Indian and Pakistani troops in 1998. The two countries were on brink of nuclear war when the United States and other countries intervened and saved the situation from turning an ugly turn.
"The rate of the rent of the said land has been revised in 2005", he added.
