Appointment to Board of Trustees of Canadian Museum of Nature
OTTAWA, ONTARIO - (Marketwire - Jan. 31, 2008) - The Honourable Josee Verner, Minister of Canadian Heritage, Status of Women and Official Languages, today announced the appointment of Lise des Greniers as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Canadian Museum of Nature.
"I am pleased that Lise des Greniers has accepted this position," said Minister Verner. "Her vast experience in the field of communications will be a significant asset for the Museum of Nature."
Ms. des Greniers holds a master's degree in social sciences from the University of Ottawa and a master's degree in religious studies from the Universite Laval. Her experience includes many years of working for the Quebec public service, as well as on the municipal political scene. Ms. des Greniers has also been involved in a number of community organizations, including the Centre femme de Sillery, la Maison d'hebergement Le Passant, and the Canadian Cancer Society's "Les pattes de l'Espoir" event.
