Electro Energy to Present at 5th Annual Tactical Power Sources Summit

Electro Energy Inc. (NASDAQ: EEEI), a leading
provider of advanced battery technologies and associated systems, today
announced that Michael E. Reed, President & CEO, will present at the 5th
Annual Tactical Power Sources Summit to be held January 28-30, 2008 at
Georgetown University Conference Center, Washington, DC. EEEI is a
co-sponsor of the event and will also be exhibiting.
Mr. Reed will discuss advanced energy storage and power conversion
technology for the war fighter, highlighting EEEI's domestic 18650 battery
production and applications for the U.S. Military; Smart Battery Power
SBP-1100, and wafer cell Li-Ion BB-2590.
Development contracts with the U.S. Department of Defense and Department of
Energy have provided significant funding for applications requiring
smaller, lighter more powerful batteries. Electro Energy is commercializing
its proprietary lithium ion and nickel-metal hydride technologies through a
variety of channels.
